Jody is the newest member of the Senior Connection Center’s senior management team and has been working at the Agency since 2014. Jody obtained both her undergraduate degree and Master of Business Administration from the University of Tampa, and she received her Certified Public Accounting license in 1993. Jody brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her position, having previously worked in banking, private industry and public accounting before continuing her career in the non-profit arena.
At Senior Connection Center I work with the fiscal staff to produce timely, accurate, and informational financial statements and the Agency’s administrative budget for our Board of Directors. I oversee the operations, as well as interpreting and implementing the policies, of the Accounting, Management and Information Systems, and Human Resource Departments; as well as the Agency’s physical plant and purchasing functions.
Something you may not know about SCC is we are a private, nonprofit organization. In addition to our dedicated professional staff, we have a great team of volunteers and interns who help us fulfill our mission. And we gladly accept tax-deductible donations, which we use to enhance services for seniors.
When I’m not at work I enjoy spending my time with my family. I love to travel, read, cross stitch, and bake.
