On June 18, 2025, Senior Connection Center’s (SCC) Board of Directors unanimously selected their new President & CEO, Ms. Kimberly (Kim) Northup Wright.
Kim will officially begin her work with Senior Connection Center on August 4, 2025, following the retirement of Charlotte McHenry who served in this role since 2014.
Ms. Northup Wright is a seasoned nonprofit executive with over two decades of leadership experience spanning disability services and higher education. She brings a strategic, mission-driven approach to executive leadership, organizational transformation, and stakeholder engagement. Kim Borsheim, SCC’s Board Chair, stated, “In addition to Kim’s extensive and transferable experience, she is a servant leader that is apparent upon meeting her. We are looking forward to having her at the helm leading the agency forward along a strategic path.”
Kim holds a Master of Science in College Student Personnel from Miami University and in Leadership and Change from Antioch University. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Communication from Florida State University. As the incoming President & CEO of Senior Connection Center, Kim shared that she is honored to lead a team that is transforming the experience of aging across their five-county service area–ensuring that every older adult has equitable access to the resources, advocacy, and compassionate care they need to thrive.
Senior Connection Center is the Area Agency on Aging and the Aging and Disability Resource Center for Hardee, Highlands, Hillsborough, Manatee, and Polk counties. Our mission is to help older adults and persons with disabilities live with independence and dignity.
