Meet Katie
At Senior Connection Center I work to ensure that the Aging and Disability Resource Center and our program services continue to be available and are of the highest quality in the state. In total there are almost 40 staff fulfilling roles in the various departments I oversee. These departments include: Contracts and Quality Assurance, the SHINE program, Long Term Care Services and the Elder Helpline.
When I’m not at work I am thankful that I can enjoy my time with family and friends. We especially love all that the Tampa Bay area has to offer, but our favorite pastime is visiting our beautiful beaches.
I enjoy working at Senior Connection Center because it provides me with the ability to give back to my community in many meaningful ways.
Something you may not know about SCC is we don’t just provide services for our seniors, we endeavor to ensure their support system stays intact and advocate for service enhancements on a daily basis.
My philosophy of life is work hard, enjoy life and leave the world a better place.
