Contracts and Quality Assurance
Our service providers and their case management teams are continuing to coordinate & provide services to individuals wherever possible, and have put extra precautions in place to avoid the spread of the disease.
Adult day care, senior center programming, congregate meal, and other community sites are largely suspended. (Please check with the direct provider or municipality for updates on particular site closures.)
Our nutrition providers are operational and providing home-delivered meals. In order to protect elders receiving meals, delivery drivers are maintaining six feet of distance from every client.
Outreach
We are offering virtual presentations via Zoom! If you are hosting a virtual meeting for your group via Zoom or another platform and would like a presenter, Senior Connection Center can provide speakers on several different topics, including Medicare-related topics through SHINE, an overview of Senior Connection Center’s services, and Elder Abuse Prevention.

Veteran Directed Care Program
VA Consultants will continue to maintain monthly telephone contact with their veteran clients and/or their fiscal representatives.
In lieu of quarterly or annual face-to-face visits with clients, VA Consultants will attempt to coordinate these meetings via video conferencing.
VA Consultants are still processing new referrals to the VDC-program via telephone and video conferencing, and can process applications via email or mail service.
Upon request, VA Consultants can provide veterans or their fiscal representatives with documentation verifying that the veterans’ caregivers are essential employees.
